Students currently enrolled in a JRCERT accredited school may apply, however, at a minimum the associate’s degree must be awarded and ARRT primary certification registry examination must be passed prior to enrollment.

Final acceptance into the program, however, will be contingent upon a satisfactory background check (as required by hospitals) that is completed by a college approved agency at the student's expense.

Clinical facilities may also require completion of satisfactory drug screening, at the student’s expense.

Students accepted into the program will also be required to submit proof of required immunizations, TB test, and proof of current CPR certification (2 year healthcare provider type). All expenses related to these items are the responsibility of the student.

Please contact the CT Program Coordinator, Professor Anavel Barrientos at 936-271-6177 (or e-mail Anavel.Barrientos@lonestar.edu), if you have questions regarding the requirements for program admission or the application process.
