Students participating in clinical, practicum, internship or co-operative coursework related to technical training, allied health occupations, child care, teacher education, interpreting, cosmetology, are required to purchase Medical Professional Liability insurance for their benefit and protection.
The purpose of the liability insurance is to protect students from claims arising out of real or alleged malpractice when the injury claimed is the result of professionalerror, accident, or omission while participating in activities that are a part of and a requirement of the students’ curriculum.
