Bio

Robert Adam, a trustee of the Lone Star College System since August 2008, is a lifetime resident of the Cy- Fair area.  Married to Linda, they have three daughters & eight grand-children.

He is active in the business community, serving as managing partner of Adam & Bing, P.C., a law firm that specializes in representing financial institutions and in real estate matters,  past CEO of First Capital Savings Association for ten years, member of the Board of Directors & Executive Committee of Independence Bank, N.A and Chairman & Director of the Cy-Fair Medical Center.

Mr. Adam is also active in community matters and is a member of the Board of Trustees & Executive Committee of the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation which has granted in excess of $4.6 million to more than 1,000 graduating seniors from the Cy-Fair ISD.   He is Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Richard Wallrath Educational Foundation, which has given more than $6 million to graduating seniors in the State of Texas from the 4-H & FFA organizations.  He has been awarded the annual “Friend of Education” from the Board of Trustees of the Cy-Fair ISD.  He serves as Chairman & Director of Mission Cy-Fair, a non-profit corporation which serves the underprivileged & “at-risk” students.  He is a Member and teacher at the Metropolitan Baptist Church.
