We are committed to helping you transition from classroom to career through amazing paid internships that provide hands-on experience in your field. Students

Did you know that a paid internship is one of the most effective ways to get a head start on your career? The Falcon Internship Program at LSC-CyFair is here to support you on your path to success.

Falcon Internship Program Requirements:

To participate in the Falcon Internship Program (FIP), students must meet the following eligibility criteria. These requirements ensure that students are prepared to represent Lone Star College professionally and successfully in internship placements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older 
  • Must be enrolled at LSC-CyFair (This includes Westway Park & Cypress Center) 
  • Must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher 
  • Must have completed a minimum of 25 credit hours
  • Must maintain good academic and disciplinary standing 
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

How to Participate

Students who meet the requirements for participation in the Falcon Internship Program can get started by creating an account on our student portal and complete the Internship Eligibility Pathway. 

  1. Sign up for an account at Symplicity
  2. Login and click the "Pathways" tile on the homepage of the student portal.
  3. Complete the Internship Eligibility Checklist.

Note: Students must complete the Internship Eligibility Pathway before they will be able to view or apply to internships.

Career Fairs

The Falcon Internship Program hosts and participates in career fairs throughout the year, providing you the opportunity to connect directly with employers from various industries. These events are a great way to explore internship options, network with professionals, and showcase your skills. Prepare your resume and come ready to make a lasting impression! 

  • September 23, 2025 (11 am - 1 pm) CENT 
  • October 21, 2025 (5 pm - 7 pm) CENT at the Cypress Center
  • February 24, 2026 (11 am - 1 pm) CENT

Workshops

FIP offers workshops designed to help you build essential career skills, including resume writing, crafting cover letters and LinkedIn profiles, and mastering interview techniques. These interactive sessions will equip you with the tools and confidence to succeed in your internship search and beyond. Workshop dates can be found below—be sure to register early!
