The C.A.R.E. Program is open to any currently enrolled LSC-Houston North student.
C.A.R.E. Program Offerings
At LSC-Houston North we understand that life doesn’t stop while you attend college. That’s why we are here to help, whether it’s funding for classes, textbooks, technology or simply trying to keep a stable home environment for your family. We want you to succeed for a better tomorrow.
We have been working to provide C.A.R.E. Program assistance to our students in need. Please submit your request at the link below. You will be contacted in 1 to 2 business days upon receiving request.
Food Scholarship Information
We understand the various expenses that you may have related to tuition, textbooks, as well as your personal lives. Therefore, we want to find new ways to support you. It is our goal to make it as easy as possible for you to just focus upon learning.?
Starting this month, we will have mobile markets which will allow students (and their families) to get up to 60lbs of fresh fruits, vegetables, and meats every two weeks. The mobile markets will rotate amongst each of the four LSC-Houston North locations.
You only have to be enrolled in six credit hours at a LSC-Houston North location (Fairbanks, Fallbrook, Greenspoint, Victory) in order to be eligible.
Monthly Be Well™ Acres Homes Food Distribution at LSC-Houston North Victory
Lone Star College-Houston North is excited to announce a new initiativeto bring monthly food distributions to our Acres Homes Community.
By expanding exercise and healthy eating programs for our Academy for Lifelong Learning (ALL) program, as well as increasing access to fresh, healthy food for our students and our neighbors, we are building a healthier community together!
All are welcome, and participation is free! Please follow the directions of signage and staff at LSC-Houston North Victory the day of the mobile distribution.

Lone Star College-Houston North food distribution is supported by Be Well™ Acres Homes. Be Well Acres Homes is an initiative of The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
LSC-Houston North’s Academy for Lifelong Learning (ALL) is a membership program for adults age 50 and older that offers free and affordable classes, events, and activities. Interested? Connect with us to learn more about what we offer at HN-CE@LoneStar.edu.
Recently, we surveyed students from the three existing locations and found that approximately one-third would utilize a food pantry at least twice per week if one was available on campus. Therefore, we are requesting your assistance. We have started a Feeding the Future initiative to fill food pantries at all LSC-Houston North locations.
PLEASE NOTE: We can only accept donations with the expiration dates noted on individual items.
Thank you, but we are UNABLE TO ACCEPT: baby food, baked goods (bread, cookies), used clothing, dented cans or crushed boxes, fresh food, frozen or refrigerated food, glass items, any used or opened containers, expired items or food items without expiration dates, large commercial bags of items (rice, grains), non-professional clothing.
