At Lone Star College-Houston North, we believe that with the right structure and adequate support, our students are capable of succeeding academically and professionally. For this reason, we have Community Assistance Resource for Everyone (C.A.R.E.) Centers that are located at all LSC-Houston North Locations.
Disability Services (DS) assists current and future students by determining and recommending appropriate academic support services. We also focus on helping students with disabilities make a successful transition to the college and act as a referral source for services both on campus and within the community. The LSC-Houston North of Student Life endorses our vision by implementing co-curricular enrichment opportunities and establishing engaging relationships across our college. This affords our students a direct connection to institutional and community resources which bestows experiential learning and leadership opportunities to ensure our students success beyond the classroom.

The mission of the LSCS Libraries is to support a successful educational experience, nurture the intellectual and cultural life of the community, encourage critical thought, promote information literacy, and provide innovative and high-quality services and programs.
Library Services include:
• Print services
• Computers for student and community use
• 2-hour loan of calculators, textbooks, headsets for students and faculty
• Access to databases (including articles, streaming video on English, History, Science, Medical, and News and Current Event topics)
• Designated quiet study area
• Student ID Badges – Library cards (Lone Star College, Harris County, and Montgomery County libraries)
Lone Star College Testing Centers provide a variety of testing services to students including, but not limited to Placement Exams, Make-up Exams/LSC-Online Exams, Correspondence Exams, Challenge exams Foreign Language Exams and Exams for students approved for ADA Accommodations.
No testing will begin within the last hour of closing.
Testing Services include:
• Academic exams
• Accuplacer ESL and Math
• Challenge Exams
• Correspondence for Academic Exams
• Pearson Vue
All students enrolled in courses with LSC can use the tutoring center that works best, regardless of location including students enrolled in online courses. Tutoring is covered for all students through the enrollment fee, so no payment is required to use these services.
