Fraud Alert
We have been alerted of an active scam campaign targeting international students throughout the U.S. Individuals are impersonating (pretending to be) ICE Agents or other government agencies and specifically targeting international students, in exchange for money. Please do not give out your information or send money to anyone who contacts you by phone or email. Simply hang up and notify your International Student Advisor/DSO. The Office of International Programs at Lone Star College is prepared to provide students with innovative education and customized support, whether in person or virtually, that moves you closer to your long-term goals. To better serve all students and meet the educational needs of the diverse communities in the Houston area, the college has seven campuses. All campuses offer 100 plus full degrees and a complete English as a Second Language/English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESL/ESOL) program.
Lone Star College offers robust student experiences through a variety of student organizations and events. International students may also be eligible to participate in our nationally and globally recognized Honors College, as well as National Model United Nations and study abroad programs—all of which include scholarship opportunities.
Enrollment at any of our campuses involves four processes: Admissions, Visa Approval, Orientation, and Course Registration.
