Call for Exhibition Entries
2015-2016 Exhibition Opportunity
Eligibility for Entry:
Artists residing in the continental United States are eligible
to submit entries in consideration for upcoming solo and
group exhibition opportunities for 2015 - 2016. Entries will
be accepted in all visual media including painting, drawing,
ceramics, sculpture, printmaking, photography, video, computer/
technology, conceptual art, fiber art, and graffiti art.
1. all work must be original and completed in the last two years
2. all 2 – D work may not exceed 8 feet in height and must be
professionally framed and ready-to-hang
3. all 3 – D work may not exceed 250 pounds and must be

2 – D and 3 – D artists are requested
to submit 5 – 10 images in CD format
of current work, an artist’s statement,
a biography, and a SASE for return
of the images. Those without a SASE
will not be returned. Video, Computer,
and Time – based conceptual artists
are to submit a VHS or CD format of
current work queued to a 10 – minute
section for viewing, an artist’s statement,
a biography, and a SASE for return of
the images. Those without a SASE will
not be returned.
Deadline - April 10, 2015 at 5 pm.
Acceptance of work at the juror phase does not necessarily
guarantee exhibition inclusion if any work differs significantly
from the original entry image. For this reason, it is paramount
high quality images are provided. Under such circumstances,
the piece/s will be disqualified from exhibition consideration.
Detailed delivery and shipping instructions will be included with
entry notification. All art must be original.
Exhibition selection will be made by a jury composed of
members of the full-time faculty of the Art Department of LSCNorth
All work must be available for purchase or be listed as not-forsale
(NFS) but with a dollar valuation for insurance purposes.
There is no commission taken on sales. All accounts will be
settled within thirty (30) days of the conclusion of the exhibition.
Prices of art are not subject to change once registration is
All possible care will be taken of the work submitted to the
exhibition. However, LSC-North Harris will not assume liability
for damage or loss associated with shipping. LSC-North Harris
does insure the exhibition against loss and damage during the
period of display only. The artist has ten (10) days to submit a
written claim and three (3) independent bids for repair for any
damage incurred during the course of the exhibition. Claims
will not be considered on pre-existing conditions. Unless
otherwise stated, LSC-North Harris assumes permission to
photograph selected artwork and/or reproduce images for
publicity purposes. All guidelines governing the exhibition are
subject to interpretation by agents of LSCNorth Harris.
