Meet the Vice President of Administrative Services
Dr. Jerrel Wade is the LSC-Tomball Vice President of Administrative Services.
Jerrel earned a Doctor of Education from the University of Houston in 2014, a Master of Education in Adult and Higher Education from the University of Oklahoma in 2003, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Science Education from the University of Oklahoma in 2001.
In his current position, Jerrel serves as the campus’ Chief Ethics Officer and coordinates campus budget development. He also oversees facility renovations and construction projects, facility rentals, contracts and inventory control, and campus public safety and risk management.
Throughout his career, Jerrel has held numerous roles that have impact both organizational and student success. His full scope of higher education experiences include strategic planning, budgeting, student recruitment, student life, Greek affairs, judicial affairs, orientation, mentoring, and first year experience programs
Among his community activities, Jerrel serves as a board member for the Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce and the American Association of Blacks in Higher Education. He also serves as Fellow for the American Association of Blacks in Higher Education - Leadership and Mentoring Institute. He is also a Life Member of the Texas Association of Black Personnel in Higher Education.

Administrative responsibilities include:
- Serve as the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer and the Chief Ethics Officer for Lone Star College (LSC) – Tomball
- Responsible for oversight of campus administrative areas: construction and facilities operations, business services, and vending and food services
- Responsible for ensuring campus’ compliance with all applicable internal and external rules, regulations and guidelines, contractual requirements, and LSC policies and procedures
