The purpose of the Professional Support Staff Association, PSSA, is to advance the professional growth of its members, and to promote training and activities that provide a positive working environment beneficial to the college as a whole. Membership is open to all full-time professional/support staff.

PSSA Meetings and Upcoming Events 

All meetings this year will be scheduled for the third Thursday of the month at 2 pm. 

Employee Appreciation Week 2024
LSC-Tomball is hosting Employee Appreciation Week from February 26 to March 1, 2024, with the following events:

• Photo Contest Monday to Thursday: Employees can upload photos in creative Western outfits or sports gear to the online Photo Contest Board between February 26th and 29th at noon. The photo with the most likes wins. The winner will be announced via email.
• Snack Cart Tuesday: Snacks will be delivered to employees campus-wide on February 27th from 9 am to 1 pm. Locations include the Main Campus, HSB, and Creekside Center.
• Pizza Wednesday and Appreciation Card Writing: On February 28th, from 11:30 am to 1 pm, employees can get pizza and write colleague appreciation cards. Locations include Main Campus Beckendorf Conference Center, HSB, and Creekside Center.
• Sports Gear Thursdday: On February 29th, employees can wear their favorite sports team gear, take photos, and upload them to the Photo Contest board HERE.
• Pick Up a Thank You Gift Friday: On March 1st, while supplies last, employees can pick up an appreciative gift in the Main Campus Commons, HSB, and Creekside Center.

PSSA Employee of the Month

A PSSA member is named “Employee of the Month” each month. All members are eligible to nominate someone. Winners receive a ½ day off (pending the supervisor’s approval), a certificate signed by Dr. Lee Ann Nutt, and a prize from PSSA. The list of honorees between 2022 and 2024 follows:
