Student Show Submissions

For Fall 2022

Submission Deadline: TBD

Thank you for entering the LSC-Montgomery Student Art Show. It's an in-person AND virtual show, so if selected, your work will be posted on LSC-Montgomery social media and/or the LSC-Montgomery website. Additionally, if selected, you'll bring your work to the LSC-Montgomery campus to be placed in the gallery for a show at the end of the semester.

For your best chance of getting in the show, please discuss with your professor what you are planning to enter.

All 2D work must be hang-ready for display. Work that is not hang-ready will not be placed in the gallery. This means: Paintings on canvas must have a hang-wire on the back. Works on paper must be framed with a hang-wire or D-rings (saw tooth ‘hangers’ do not work and may be excluded from the exhibit). 3-D works should have felts on the base. If you aren't sure if your work is hang-ready, please ask your professor for help.

For selected work: Drop off is in the D-Building Art Gallery (1st floor to the side of the Main Stage Theater) from TBD. Pick up is from TBD.

By entering, you're allowing us the use of your image(s).

  • You may upload up to 3 works for entry. Be sure the images are cropped, edited, and ready to post virtually.
  • Awards: There will be scholarship awards for the top 3 works and Honorable Mention.
  • The Student Art Show will be open on TBD and will close on TBD.
  • There will be a reception on TBD at TBD.

Starting Fall 2022 there is a new submission process:

Step 1: Combine up to 3 images into 1 PDF file that is no larger than 10MB labeled "Firstname_Lastname_StudentIDnumber_Semester_Year"

Step 2: Fill out this downloadable word doc and relabel "Firstname_Lastname_info_Semester_Year"

Step 3: As the submission deadline approaches upload both files to the Google drive link below once the deadline approaches.

Step 4: Check your e-mail daily soon after the deadline to prepare and drop off any accepted work.
