Entering the Student Art Show
Current LSC-Montgomery art students are encouraged to enter the Spring 2026 Juried Student Art Show.
Your artwork is mostly judged by the digital image (JPEG or jpg) of your work you enter. Be sure to take good images, labeling each image properly. Your instructor can help with this. Make sure you know the dates and communicate when needed.
Timeline and Information
- Deadline to enter is March, 13, 2026 by 4 p.m.
- Accepted entries will be notified Friday, April 3, 2026. Please check your email inbox for notice.
- Current LSC-M Art students may submit up to 3 pieces.
- Please save the image of your work as a JPEG (jpg) file. Each image submitted must be labeled with your name and title of the artwork (FirstnameLastname_Titleofwork.jpg). Images not labeled will not be seen.
- Dates to drop off accepted work at the art gallery are Monday, April 6 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. and Tuesday, April 7 by 4 p.m.
- Acceptable entries must be original works that are not copies of other existing artworks. Any work submitted will also be included in the entries for Swirl Magazine.
- Images submitted may be used for Lone Star College publicity purposes.
- The show runs from Monday, April 13 through Thursday, May 7, 2026. Work in the show must remain until the end, even if purchased.
- The reception for the show is Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at 1 p.m.
- Pick up artwork on Monday, May 11 and Tuesday, May 12, 2026, by 4 p.m.
