This is a one-stop honors application. When applying for admission you will also be considered for all eligible scholarship pathways by simply indicating you are interested in receiving scholarships.
General Scholars - Your Gateway to Academic Excellence
For: High-achieving students seeking a foundational honors experience.
General Scholars
Eligibility:
If you have not graduated from high school, please see the Dual Credit pathway below.
- High school GPA of 3.50 on a 4.0 scale
If you have 12+ college credit hours, a college GPA will be the sole criterion of eligibility:
- 3.25 GPA with 12+ college credit hours
*SAT and ACT are not required but submitted scores of 1260 or higher composite SAT (combined Math and Evidence-Based Reading and Writing sections) score and 26 or higher composite ACT score will be used for scholarship consideration and, if applicable, conditional admission consideration.

- *Merit Scholarships are available at LSC-CyFair, LSC-Kingwood, LSC-Montgomery, and LSC-UP.
Students interested in Merit Scholarships at LSC-Tomball, LSC-North Harris, and LSC-Houston-North, and LSC-Online should consider applying for Global Scholars-Honors Undergraduate Research track (GS-HUR) for a similar advanced research pathway, which will include access to many of the co-curricular opportunities offered to Merit Scholars.

Comprehensive Achievement Through Scholarship For: Incoming first-semester-in-college students committed to our most comprehensive scholarship and two-year honors degree program
Chancellor's Fellows
Benefits:
- All General Scholar benefits plus:
- Honors AA or AS and Chancellor’s Fellows designation upon successful completion
- Most extensive scholarship package:
- Full tuition and fees (up to 15 in-district credit hours per semester)
- $600 book allowance per semester
- $600 semester stipend
- Priority access to international travel opportunities, including international capstone experience

International Studies Language and Culture Pathways
Global Scholars Program at LSC
Core Global Scholars (GS)
For: Students interested in international language and culture studies.
Core Global Scholars (GS
Eligibility:
- A high school GPA of a 3.25 on a 4.0 scale, a college 3.0 GPA (minimum)

- Study Abroad and Study Away opportunities (opportunities may include Costa Rica, Ireland, Taiwan, Puerto Rico, etc)**,
- Additional scholarship opportunities include our Global Scholars Honors Track**, virtual exchange with peers and leaders from around the world, global student competitions (recent examples include virtual collaborations with students from iraq and jordan),
- Professional internship opportunities,
- Leadership development opportunities,

If you are a current dual credit student, you may be interested in our Honors College Dual Credit Pathway. Check with the Honors College Office at your nearby LSC campus to see what options are available near you. Must have completed two years of high school by the start of Honors classes.
Spaces in this competitive-selection pathway are limited, as is class availability, so plan early by contacting your campus director. You can find out how to apply as a current dual credit student interested in this pathway and/or about the additional pathways and scholarship options available by competitive selection to incoming college students with high school degrees.
