Immigration Workshops

The recent executive order, "Protecting the Nation from Foreign Terrorist Entry into the United States" signed Jan. 27, 2017 by President Trump, has restricted travel from seven countries and affects people of all immigration statuses. On Friday, Feb. 3, 2017, a federal court in Washington temporarily stayed this executive order. Lone Star College is monitoring this changing situation.

To help address questions surrounding the executive order and its temporary stay, Lone Star College is sponsoring a series of FREE Immigration Workshops. Immigration attorneys will be on hand to help students, parents and the community find answers and explain how the order could impact them.

Bilingual attorneys will be available to answer general questions in other languages if necessary. Sign Language Interpreters will also be available. Please see below for a listing of the available languages at each workshop. Speakers of other languages are encouraged to attend the session that best suits their needs.
