Immigration Workshops

To help address questions surrounding the Jan. 27, 2017 executive order and its Feb. 3, 2017 temporary stay, Lone Star College is sponsoring a series of FREE Immigration Workshops. Immigration attorneys will be on hand to help students, parents and the community find answers and explain how the order could impact them.

Bilingual attorneys will be available to answer general questions in other languages if necessary. Sign Language Interpreters will also be available. Please visit our Immigration Workshops page for a listing of the available languages at each session. Speakers of other languages are encouraged to attend the session that best suits their needs.

Lone Star College is the smart choice for international students looking to study in the U.S. This fall, more than 3,000 international students from 100 different countries attend Lone Star College. International students benefit from small class sizes, flexible schedules, and world class training centers. LSC international students also profit from making relationships with students and faculty that can last a lifetime.

In addition to a strong economy and low-cost of living, Houston offers many first rate amenities such as world class museums, five star restaurants and star studded entertainment that attract people from all over the world.
