The Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program and the Vocational Nursing program are taught at
Lone Star College-CyFair’s Barker Cypress campus, 9191 Barker Cypress Road, Cypress, Texas.

The Lone Star College-CyFair Associate Degree Nursing Program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing  (ACEN). The program received its initial accreditation in 2005 and continuing accreditation for 8 years was granted in October, 2010.

HESI Ticket

HESI Test Registration

The HESI exam is now offered at our main campus and satellite campuses.

The critical thinking portion of  the HESI A2 entrance exam will be required starting with the July 2016 application period. A minimum of 750 will be required in this section for the application to the Associate Degree Nursing Programs, and a minimum score of 700 in this section will be required for application to the Vocational Nursing Program.

HESI A2 entrance exam scores are valid for one year from the date taken. If applicants have successfully completed the HESI A2 entrance exam after January 2015, prior to scheduling a new exam, they must contact the Nursing Department of their first choice for guidance.

CPR Certification

All students entering the Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) or Vocational Nursing program must have a current CPR card.

Only cards from the American Heart Association  : BLS for Health Care Providers are accepted.

Criminal Background Check & Drug Screening

Final acceptance into the Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program or the Vocational Nursing program is contingent upon a satisfactory background check & drug screening (as required by clinical facilities), which will be completed by an approved agency at the student’s expense.
