LSC-North Harris offers two options to become a Registered Nurse (RN). Combining the art of caring with the science of nursing, the Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) Program is one of the most in-demand, high-growth career tracks in the industry. Graduates are eligible to become a registered nurse (RN), providing and coordinating care for patients in a variety of healthcare settings. Students can earn an ADN through the Basic Track program which is designed for those with no previous nursing or paramedic education. An ADN is also achievable through the Articulation Track program which is designed to transition Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) and Licensed Paramedics (LPs) in earning their ADN. The LSC-North Harris Nursing Program offers an integrated nursing curriculum whereby both classroom and clinical content are organized around a series of concepts that progress from simple to complex. (See further below for more information on these professional nursing programs.)
