LSC-CyFair Scholarships

Lone Star College-CyFair Scholarship Deadlines are the following: 

June 15^th for the Fall semester

October 15^th for the Spring semester

To apply for the scholarships listed below, please print the  scholarship application (PDF) and two reference evaluations  forms (PDF). You can also obtain the scholarship application and the two reference evaluations forms at Lone Star College-CyFair, Financial Aid Office located in the Learning Commons Building. We also encourage scholarship applicants to fill out the FAFSA to be eligible for need-based scholarships. Our Financial Aid Steps will help walk you through the FAFSA application process.

Alvis - Minimum 3.0 GPA, single with no children, enrolled in the ADN program, receives no other form of financial aid, funds to be used for tuition, special fees, and books.

Bertram Family In Memory of Florence T. Bertram - Minimum 3.0 GPA, must demonstrate financial need, enrolled in the ADN program, funds to be used for all educational related expenses.

Beryl A. MacLean - Academic discipline is speech or communication.

Bill and Connie Yancey - Minimum 2.5 GPA, full-time student, must demonstrate financial need, funds to be used for tuition, special fees, and books, and student should have a clear goal.

Caldwell Companies - Minimum 2.5 GPA,  minimum of 6 credit hours, same student the following year if she or he meets the criteria and is still enrolled, funds to be used for tuition, fees, books, and class supplies.

Carl's BBQ - Minimum 2.5 GPA, minimum of 6 credit hours, same student the following year if she or he meets the criteria and is still enrolled, funds to be used for tuition, fees, books, and class supplies.

Clarence Krueger Memorial - GPA is in good standing, education discipline is music, theater, or performing arts, funds to be used for tuition, special fees, and all related education expenses.

CLR, Inc.  - Must attend LSC-CyFair, see Financial Aid Office for details.

Copperfield Women's Club - Part-time or full-time student, must attend LSC-CyFair. Female student over the age of 25.

Cy-Fair Federal Credit Union - Enrolled in the alternative teacher certification program.

Cy-Fair Houston Chamber of Commerce - Minimum 2.5 GPA, must demonstrate financial need, funds to be used for tuition, special fees, and books.

Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center - Minimum 2.5 GPA, minimum 6 credit hours.

Cypress Fairbanks Rotary Club - Minimum 2.5 GPA, full- time student, must demonstrate financial need.

Darcy and Robert Mingoia Scholarship - Must attend LSC-CyFair, funds to be used for all education related expenses including childcare, transportation, etc.

Dave and Jacque Feldman - Full-time student, must demonstrate financial need.

Dr. Bob Williams - must attend LSC-CyFair.

Dr. Diane K. Troyer - Part-time or full-time student, must demonstrate financial need, funds to be used for tuition, special fees, books, and childcare expenses, preference given to single parent.

ESL Student - Must demonstrate financial need, academic discipline is English as a Second Language, funds to be used for tuition only.

Estelle R. Cameron Memorial- Enrolled in the Interpreter Training Technology Program. 

Evelyn F. and Eugene F. Whitehorne - Minimum 2.5 GPA, part-time or full-time student,must demonstrate financial need, funds to be used for tuition, special fees, and books. 

First Community Credit Union - Enrolled in a financial program and maintains 3.0 GPA, must demonstrate financial need, funds to be used for tuition, special fees, and books. 

Fox and Bubela, Inc. - Must demonstrate financial need, funds to be used for tuition, special fees, and books.       

Gilbane Building Company - Must attend LSC-CyFair.

Greater Texas Foundation Student Success Scholarships - Minimum 2.0 GPA, part-time or full-time student, must demonstrate financial need with an EFC of $3500 or above, must be "first time in college" student, must be enrolled in Math 0306, Math 0308 or Math 0310, and registered for the next sequential class by subsequent semester's census date, funds to be used for tuition, special fees, and books. 

In Honor of Nancy F. Caldwell - Minimum 3.0 GPA, academic discipline is nursing, student with children.

Jerry Albrecht - Minimum 2.5 GPA, with a documented learning disability, enrolled in at least 6 hours. 

John E. Pickelman - Must demonstrate financial need, funds to be used for tuition, special fees, and books.

John Haskins - Student must attend LSC-Fairbanks Center, academic discipline is English as a Second Language, no restriction based on citizenship status.

Klein Bank and Trust - Student who has an income which is less than 80 percent of the area adjusted median income, funds to be used for all education related expenses.

Linda and Donnie Humphries Family - Full-time student, must demonstrate financial need, funds to be used for tuition, special fees, and books.

LSC-CyFair Faculty Senate - Must demonstrate financial need, funds must be used for tuition, special fees, and books.

LSC-CyFair Presidents - Minimum 2.5 GPA, minimum 6 credit hours, must demonstrate financial need.

LSC-CyFair Professional and Support Staff Association - Minimum 2.0 GPA, must attend LSC-CyFair or LSC-Fairbanks Center, funds to be used for tuition, special fees, and books.

Methodist Willowbrook Hospital - Minimum 2.5 GPA, enrolled in nursing, radiology or sonography program, preference given to an employee of the hospital, or if not an employee, the student must volunteer at least ten hours per semester at the hospital, funds to be used for tuition, special fees, and books.

Mingoia Family - Minimum 2.5 GPA, must demonstrate financial need, funds to be used for tuition, special fees, and books.

NCI Building Systems - Full-time student, minimum 2.5 GPA overall, major GPA 3.0, academic discipline is drafting/design, funds to be used for tuition, special fees, and books.

NewQuest Properties - Minimum 3.0 GPA, full-time student, student who is single and without children, seeking a bachelors degree in business and receives no other form of financial aid.

PBK Architects, Inc. - Must attend LSC-CyFair.

Qwock Lem and Kim Yoke Lau Memorial Scholarship - Minimum 3.3 GPA, full-time or part-time student, must demonstrate financial need, funds to be used for tuition, special fees, and books. 

Robert J. Adam Family - Full-time student, must demonstrate financial need, funds to be used for tuition, special fees, and books.

Rosemary A. Freda - Minimum 3.0 GPA, funds to be used for all education related expenses.

Sterling Bank - Minimum 2.5 GPA, full-time student, academic discipline is business or undecided, must demonstrate financial need, funds to be used for educational costs and fees.

Stone Gate- Minimum 2.0 GPA, resides in the Stone Gate Community.

Susan J. Caldwell Endowment for the Arts - Minimum 2.0 GPA, full-time or part-time student , must be enrolled in two courses in the arts music drama or a combination, funds to be used for tuition, fees, books, and class supplies (contact LSC Foundation for specifics).

Texas Process Equipment- Minimum 3.0 GPA, minimum 9 credit hours, academic discipline is engineering design graphics or machining technology, AAS in Industrial Maintenance, Welding and Inspect Tech, funds to be used for tuition, special fees, and books , first consideration given to child of TPE employee who meets criteria.

Cypress Fairbanks Educational Foundation Scholarship Fund is endowed by Edwin C. Schroeder and awarded to Cy-Fair I.S.D. seniors towards their first year at any Lone Star College System college.  Please complete the Cypress Fairbanks Educational Foundation Scholarship Fund scholarship application.

Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation provides financial assistance in the form of scholarships to deserving sons and daughters of current or former United States Marines in their pursuit of higher education. We also provide a very limited number of scholarships to children of Navy Corpsmen who serve or have served with Marines.  More information is available.
