LSC-Tomball Scholarships

Here is a list of institutional scholarship opportunities available to many Lone Star College-Tomball students. Please take a moment to review the list and decide if you are qualified and want to apply. It is your responsibility to meet all deadlines and submit all required paperwork to the designated addresses as per scholarship.

External Scholarships

Scholarships are also available from sources outside Lone Star College System. Application, criteria and funding depend upon the agency issuing the scholarship.

Ryan Paul Whitaker Memorial Nursing Scholarship 2.5 Enrolled in 6+ hours Nursing student, 25 + yrs old

Bill Stafford Memorial Scholarship 3.0+ Enrolled in 12+ hours Special consideration given those pursuing a career change and/or planning a career in Social Work, Counseling, or Teaching

J. Anthony Walter, MD Scholarship   Enrolled in 12+ hours Must be majoring in Engineering Technology
Hulon & Marion Madeley Scholarship 3.0+ Enrolled in 12+ hours Must be pursuing a teaching career in Life or Earth Sciences. Preferably, recipient will enroll in a Teacher Education program at SHSU.
Tomball Lions' Club Scholarship 3.0+ Enrolled in 12+ hours For handicapped students. There are 2 scholarships available: an Academic Scholarship and Career Technology Scholarship.

Ann Glazier McStravick Scholarship 2.5+ Enrolled in 6+ hours For students pursuing an Associate Degree in Nursing at Lone Star College-Tomball
Kathleen Graham Semmler Scholarship     For a nursing student chosen by the Nursing Department
Lone Star College-Tomball President's Endowment Scholarship 2.0+ Enrolled in 6+ hours Standard
Foundation Gala Scholarship 2.5+ Enrolled in 6+ hours Standard
Pearl L. Fincher Endowment Scholarship 2.5+ Enrolled in 6+ hours Standard
Lone Star College System Foundation Student Essay   Enrolled in at least 6+ hours Completed high school
Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation     The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation provides financial assistance in the form of scholarships to deserving sons and daughters of current or former United States Marines in their pursuit of higher education. We also provide a very limited number of scholarships to children of Navy Corpsmen who serve or have served with Marines.
Executive Women International Scholarship Non-traditional student, over 18 years of age, in transitional situations
