The Assessment Center at LSC-Fairbanks Center is located inside the Learning Commons, Room 115. We provide a variety of testing services for students, faculty and the community. For more information about which exams we administer, please contact the center at 832-782-5034.
Most exams are now offerered by appointment only. The only exams that walk-ins will be allowed are Academic and Placement exams for Students attending or applying to Lone Star College.

Placement Exams (TSIA, Accuplacer Math, and Accuplacer ESL)
Academic Exams (for LSC students enrolled in hybrid or online courese or those granted a makeup exam by their instructor)
Exams with Accommodations (for LSC students with approved testing accommodations. See Counseling for more information). Those needing a private testing room will need to make an appointment. ***
Challenge Exams (BCIS 1305 and ITSC/COSC 1301 only) ***
Pearson VUE Exams (GED, Cisco, Teacher Certification, CompTIA, and numerous other Pearson VUE exams) ***
THEA exams ***
Correspondence Exams (exams for students attending other institutions. We charge $25 per exam) ***
No testing will begin within one hour of closing. The last hour is reserved for closing out exams that are already in progress
It is the Examinee’s responsibility to arrive early enough before closing time to finish an exam.
In order to protect the integrity of exams, photo identification is required. If you lose your student ID, you may purchase a replacement card for $10. You can also present your Driver's License.
All testing fees must be paid before testing at the payment counter or online using the "pay for your exam" link on the right side of this page. Please present receipt.
Please do not bring children; they cannot be accommodated or left unattended while testing.
