Please wait to contact the Office of Veterans Affairs about certification status until we have concluded processing certification requests received on the date indicated on your submission receipt or e-mail.

If you are using Chapters 33, 31, Hazelwood, and Tuition Assistance, you may be eligible to have your registration held by submitting a request for Certification by the following dates:

  • Fall - August 1st 
  • Spring - January 5th 
  • Summer - May 1st
If you do not have your request in by the above dates you will need to contact the Business Office to set up a payment arrangement in order to not be dropped from your classes.

VetSuccess on Campus

The VetSuccess on Campus program is a collaborative effort between the Lone Star College and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) with the purpose of providing a supportive on-campus environment for student veterans. VA has placed a full-time Vocational Counselor on the LSC-University Park campus to assist veterans, active duty military, and their eligible family members who attend or plan to attend Lone Star College.
