LSC-Kingwood Testing Center

ATTENTION

Click here to complete the Pre-Assessment Activity (PAA). You MUST complete this before you can take the TSIA2. You will not be permitted to test without indicating proof of PAA completion. 

  1. Create your PAA account by clicking on the "Don't have an account?" button, followed by the "Sign Up" button
  2. Input your email (personal email) into your login form
  3. Create your PAA password - please follow the instructions give for passwords
  4. Return to the login page and login with your email and newly created password
  5. Select "Lone Star College Systems" as your institution. Provide your date of birth. 
  6. On the list of exams, select "TEXAS SUCCESS INITIATIVE 2.0 PRE-ASSESSMENT ACTIVTY (TSIA2-PAA)"
  7. You will view two short videos, followed by two short practice exams. You must watch both videos all the way to the end and you must answer every question on the practice exams.
  8. Once you have completed both practice exams, click "FINISH". You will receive an email confirming your PAA Completion. You must present this email or a photo/screenshot/physical copy of your PAA Certificate of Completion in order to take your TSIA2.

Exams with virtual proctoring options will incur an additional proctoring fee paid to the 3rd party company.

Spring 2024 Hours of Operations 

  • Monday - Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
  • Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Saturday: 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p. m. 
  • No exams will be administered in the last hour prior to closing

Parking

We are located on the 2nd floor of the Student Conference Center (SCC), in front of Parking Lot A. Please register your vehicle for a Guest/Visitor parking permit at www.lonestar.edu/parking to avoid a warning or citation when you park on our campus.

Guidelines for Testing with our Facility

  • You must have an appointment in order to test
  • A valid photo ID is required for your exam to be administered.
  • To promote test security, a distraction-free environment, and parity for all exam candidates, certain materials are not allowed in the testing room, including but not limited to:
    • Bags / Backpacks
    • Wallets / Purses
    • Cell phones
    • Watches
    • Electronic devices
    • Hats, caps, or other forms of headwear
    • Sunglasses / Eye glass cases
    • Covers of calculators
    • Food or drink (including gum)
  • Only items allowed to complete your exam will be allowed to enter the testing room. Consequently it is in your best interest to travel as lightly as possible to our facility, leaving such items in your vehicle, if possible. Otherwise, all such items will need to be stored away in a locker provided by our facility.
