Student Orientation
The Lone Star College System welcomes you as a new or prospective student. We believe that a comprehensive orientation to our college system sets the stage for a successful transition to college life. Our orientation program is required for all first-time-in-college students who have never attended another college and is a two-step process:
1) Online Orientation – an overview of Lone Star College, important policies and procedures, and resources that will help you be successful. Online Orientation must be completed after completing the Admissions Application. This program should take you approximately 30 minutes to complete. Once you complete the online orientation you can sign up for part two of the orientation, the Campus Connections Program.
2) Campus Connections Session – an on-campus orientation that includes a campus tour, sessions on student services and academic life, academic advising and assistance with course registration.
