A Campus Connection: Employee and son earn degrees together at LSC-Kingwood
For one Lone Star College-Kingwood employee, graduation day was twice as meaningful as he and his son earned their degrees together. For several years, Miguel Avalos has worked as a maintenance technician at Lone Star College-Kingwood. He never imagined he would one day become a student again.

Lone Star College-Montgomery lifePATH® students took part in the annual Gallery Walk, bringing together business leaders, community partners, educators, students, and families for a hands-on showcase of student development. lifePATH® prepares neurodivergent students to earn associate degrees through a blend of academics, soft-skill training, industry certifications, mentorship and structured community internships.
