Lone Star College-University Park (LSC-University Park) hosts its newly rebranded Lions Summer Learning Program, providing elementary students with a fun and creative way to continue learning during their summer break.
LSC- Magnolia Center HVAC Program Launch, Director Appointed
Lone Star College-Tomball's first heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) Occupational Entry Certificate class began in Summer 2026 at Lone Star College- Magnolia Center. Additionally, the college is proud to announce the appointment of Ahmed Gaber as the HVAC Program Director at the LSC-Magnolia Center.

Public safety leaders from across the region gained valuable insight into preventing mass attacks in public spaces at a recent training event presented by the U.S. Secret Service National Threat Assessment Center (NTAC), the U.S. Secret Service Houston Field Office, and the Lone Star College Police Department.

Kaitlin Valino graduated from LSC-University Park this spring, just after wrapping up a policy fellowship in Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo's office. She worked under a fellow LSC-University Park graduate, Selena Garcia.

Jim Cain, Ed.D., former superintendent of Klein ISD, has served on the Lone Star College System Board of Trustees since 2020. He is known for his dedication to student success and a lifelong passion for education.
Lone Star College-Montgomery lifePATH® program spotlights neurodivergent internships
Lone Star College-Montgomery lifePATH® students took part in the annual Gallery Walk, bringing together business leaders, community partners, educators, students, and families for a hands-on showcase of student development. lifePATH® prepares neurodivergent students to earn associate degrees through a blend of academics, soft-skill training, industry certifications, mentorship and structured community internships.
