Featuring Luncheon Keynote Speaker:
Mr. Alexander Tzang

Mr. Alexander Tzang is a Special Advisor of the China-US Exchange Foundation – a private not-for-profit Foundation founded by Mr. Tung Che Hwa, the Founding Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China. The Foundation’s sole objective is to foster a closer Sino-US relationship through high level people to people dialog and exchange. Mr. Tzang is responsible for the Foundation’s African American Outreach Initiative for which he develops and organizes activities involving African American leaders in the US to understand China via visits and other activities.  Members of the Congress, leaders of civic and academic institutions, media and business, etc. have participated in such activities. On behalf of the Foundation, he is organizing a 400-student China study visit program and a 1,000 scholarship program offered by Chinese Vice Premier Liu Yan Dong to the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) and the Traditionally Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) in her November 2013 visit to the US Capitol. Mr. Tzang was instrumental in organizing the first official visits to China by the Black leaders of the Congress and Presidents of HBCUs in 2013.

Ambassador Sada Cumber

In the private sector, Ambassador Sada Cumber is a serial entrepreneur who has started and builds 12 companies in imaging and technology space. Several of his companies have been acquired by publicly traded companies like Kodak, HP, Cisco, Proctor & Gamble and American Greetings.

In the public sector, he has received many appointments at the state level including serving on Governor’s $300 million Economic Development Fund, $200 million Emerging Technology Fund, and Governor’s Higher Education Task Force. He serves as a senior advisor to the Governor of Texas.

In 2009, The President of the United States appointed him as the first U.S. Ambassador to the Organization of the Islamic Countries. Presently, he serves as a senior advisor to the Director of National Intelligence.

In private sector, Sada serves as Board Chair of TCMS, Wakai, Al Hambra US Chamber and Texas Global.
