  • Lone Star College-North Harris commemorates the opening of a center in the East Aldine community with a building dedication on Friday, Sept. 13. Lone Star College-East Aldine Centerís building dedication will begin with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 2 p.m. followed by an open house.

  • Itís not too late to find your place at Lone Star College-North Harris, and the new Lone Star College-East Aldine Center, with ďLate Start.Ē Late Start provides options to complete a full semester program in a shortened period.

  • LSC-North Harris Bookstore announces extended hours during the first week of the Fall semester. The bookstore will be open Monday - Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to help serve students during the first week of classes.

  • With countless options available in the world, finding your place after high school graduation can be difficult for some students. However, at Lone Star College-North Harris students continue to find the support and encouragement they need to achieve success and pursue their dreams.

  • From filling out an application to scheduling classes, Lone Star College-North Harrisí Super Saturday events on Aug. 17 and 24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. will offer new and returning students an opportunity for one-stop registration for the fall semester.

  • The countdown is on at Lone Star College-North Harris and at its newest center, Lone Star College-East Aldine Center, with the first day of class, Monday, Aug. 26. To add to the first day of school fun, students who register for fall and pay by Saturday, Aug. 17 will be automatically entered into a raffle for a new computer.

  • Have you recently considered going back to school, but donít know exactly where to start? Advisors and counselors at Lone Star College-North Harris (LSC-North Harris) are ready to help you begin or continue your educational journey.

  • Transferring to a four-year university or preparing for a career after graduation can be an overwhelming process for some students. But at Lone Star College-North Harris, the Career and Successful Transfer (CAST) Lab staff is making the process easy and fun for students.

  • Construction is being finalized and the final details are falling into place as Lone Star College-East Aldine Center prepares to open for classes this fall.  The campus has also hired its first round of staff, completing another major process in opening. 

  • Houston rap legends Lilí Keke and DJ Michael Watts are bringing a Southside vibe to Lone Star College-North Harris next week for its Taking Care of Business Registration Rally on Tuesday, July 9 from 3-7 p.m.
