• Black History Month Events at LSC-North Harris Feature Texas A&M Professor, Unique Exhibits - February 04, 2012
  Lone Star College-North Harris is celebrating Black History Month with a series of free events throughout February, including a presentation by Dr. Tom Curry, Texas A&M professor of philosophy, and two exhibits honoring African-American trailblazers.
• Dr. Melissa Gonzalez Named Dean at LSC-North Harris - January 17, 2012
  Dr. Melissa Gonzalez was recently named dean of the Lone Star College-North Harris Computer Information Technology Division. In her new position, she will oversee the college’s departments of computer information technology, visual communication, and business.
• Second Start Courses from LSC-North Harris Offer Students a Second Chance - January 17, 2012
  The spring semester has already begun at Lone Star College-North Harris, however it’s not too late to register for classes. Second Start courses are available beginning as late as Mar. 19, or as soon as Jan. 30.
• LSC-North Harris Offers Online Career Coach - January 12, 2012
  For those who included a career change among their New Year’s resolutions, Lone Star College-North Harris has a new online tool to help them reach their goal. Career Coach, a free service available through the college’s website, allows students and community members to explore potential careers.
• Lone Star College-Victory Center to Hold Information Session for Construction Trades, HVAC, Welding Programs - December 16, 2011
  Lone Star College-Victory Center will hold information sessions about three of its Career and Technical Education programs – construction trades, HVAC and welding – on Tuesday, Jan. 10 at 6 p.m. at LSC-Victory Center in room 113, located at 4141 Victory Street in Houston.
• Holiday Show Features the Talents of LSC-North Harris Students - November 30, 2011
  Snowfall: A Showcase of Talent will feature live music, singing and dramatic artistry from the college’s talented drama students.The entire family will enjoy these magical holiday performances which take place at 7 p.m., Dec. 7 through Dec. 10, in the college’s Arena Theater (ACAD-142).
• Steve Kolar Named Vice President of Instruction at LSC-North Harris - November 23, 2011
  Lone Star College-North Harris recently named Steve Kolar as its new vice president of instruction. In January he will begin serving as the college’s chief academic officer and providing leadership for student learning and academic affairs.
• Register Now for Spring 2012 Classes - November 07, 2011
  Register now for spring 2012 classes at Lone Star College-North Harris, Greenspoint and Victory Centers. The new semester starts Jan. 17, and classes are expected to fill fast. Those planning to take spring classes are encouraged to beat the rush and register prior to the upcoming holiday break.
• Investigative Journalist, Chinese Consul of Education Headline International Education Week at LSC-North Harris - October 21, 2011
  Lone Star College-North Harris will celebrate International Education Week Nov. 14 – 18 with an exciting offering of events to showcase the college’s diversity and promote a global perspective among students. All of the week’s events, are free and open to the community.
• Fall Festivals planned for LSC-North Harris, LSC-Victory Center - October 21, 2011
  

  Lone Star College-North Harris will hold its annual Fall Festival on Monday, Oct. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. A Fall Festival will also be held at the new LSC-Victory Center, located at 4141 Victory Drive, on Friday, Oct. 28 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
