Eighteen Lone Star College System students and one alumnus are semifinalists for the Jack Kent Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship, a prestigious distinction designed to help high-achieving community college students complete their bachelor’s degrees debt-free.

Lone Star College System is hiring part-time instructors to teach subjects such as mathematics, physics, government and speech. Those interested in applying are invited to attend the Adjunct Faculty Career Fair on March 31 from 3:30-7 p.m. at LSC-System Office, The Woodlands.

Lone Star College-Montgomery’s Phi Theta Kappa chapter, Beta Delta Iota, has been officially recognized through the REACH Rewards program for its excellence in membership acceptance. This designation follows a landmark year for the chapter, which saw a 16% increase in membership from 2024 to 2025, with 318 new members added.
