The Art Department at Lone Star College-Montgomery (LSC-M) is excited to announce a collaborative project with the Ardest Gallery, a vibrant commercial art space near Third Gen Coffee in the Woodlands. Throughout the month of May, the gallery will host a special exhibition featuring selected artworks by talented students from LSC-M, culminating in a reception on May 10th to celebrate this exceptional partnership.

Lone Star College-University Park (LSC-University Park) recently celebrated the academic achievements of 62 students who earned membership in Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), the international honor society for two-year colleges. More than 20 of these scholars participated in the Spring 2025 induction ceremony on April 16, highlighting their commitment to scholarship, leadership, service, and fellowship.?

The Barry Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Foundation awarded the prestigious Barry Goldwater Scholarships to 441 college students nationwide interested in pursuing research careers in natural sciences, mathematics and engineering. Alexander “AJ” Jefferson, Lone Star College-University Park and LSC Honors and International Education student, is among the 2025-2026 scholarship recipients.

Lone Star College-University Park spotlights student creativity and imagination in its 8th Annual Juried Student Art Show, now open in the Visual & Performing Arts (VPA) Building Gallery. The exhibition features 35 standout works selected from 87 student submissions by this year’s juror, Houston-based artist and children's book illustrator Lisa Chow.
